she felt smaller than she did before,    having to wrap her plaid shirt around her even tighter as her limbs hugged her lithe frame.        her blush colored lip was captured between the walls of her teeth as she didn’t dare to falter her gaze from his own.        there was a fire in the bed of her eyes as she glared at him ,   but it soon was extinguished at his words.

wait,     you’re leaving?       why did you come here to tell me that?                  and why am i going to be haunted with your absence?          perhaps a part of her knew that she would forgive him,     or at least tolerate his presence again,     but it all seemed so out of reach suddenly.         a hint of desperation for answers ridden her soft features,     the very same that was harshly scrunched in anger not days before.                     why not leave a note or somethin’?

leaving a note wasn’t his style : he would either leave with no word or attempt to find a reason to stay.                  for now, he was aiming towards the latter, as a deep breath escaped the demons lips.                      he didn’t want to leave, but knew he couldn’t stay either.          over-all, it was a lose-lose situation, and one that neither of them would like.

choices were complicated, nothing was ever clear cut, and rarely was it in anyone else’s favor.          though, his mind was made up, he was going to leave, and go back to the rest.           maybe then he could let himself forget about everything — it would be easier that way,           ❛    i thought you would have liked to know.      ❜         a full out lie, ky wanted her to to stop him, but for now, that didn’t matter.         just saying he was leaving was enough.
