In the pursuit of calamity, John became the scapegoat for the consequences Ky would have otherwise faced. Were he in better spirits, he would have been moved to reprimand the reckless demon, call attention to the risks taken and gambling committed. But no, in his current morose mood, the blond accepted full responsibility, had given ky’s ideas time and consideration – and came out heavily short changed in the process.

Brows are quick to crease at that aborted piece of dialogue, eyes half closed fixing the man with a scorching glare as he found his voice. Know what, Ky? How much I got fucked over ‘cuz of your reckless shite?

he wanted to say it wasn’t all reckless and that everything had a calculated risk. the only problem was that ky’lar knew the truth. he had forced john’s hands just enough so that all the backfire would come on the john himself. in most ways, it was quite amusing, but in other’s, it was, what some could consider highly dangerous, and that was just the beginning of matters.

this little mistake of ky’lar’s cost him over half his current favors and more than likely any future favors for quite a while. though, it was worth it — to at least get close to the power he desired, but instead, it backfired on everyone —- a reason to why he wouldn’t attempt such a task until he was truly ready,

❝ —— don’t know an’ i don’t care. ❞ a lie, he did care, but the demon just wouldn’t show it.
