Meg narrowed her eyes at him, hardly surprised by his tone, but still pissed off. It was probably her own fault for thinking she could have a decent conversation with a demon for once. “And who might that be, hm? There’s not a damn soul left on this forsaken rock who’s interested in my company.”

Anger, annoyance, slight hint of despair…“As for doing something important…I don’t feel like I’ve done that since the rise of Lucifer.” Moving along like a mindless creature, obeying orders she didn’t want to comply with, pretending to be a good little demon under the ruling of a King who could be described as none other than her ultimate nemesis. Yep, life was going great for Meg.

There was so much hatred within her that she struggled on a daily basis to keep calm and carry on, she could really do with a war or something equally slaughter-filled. Something or someone to work out all her anger on until she managed to find a better purpose in life. “Regardless of what the truth is, you have my vote.” She shrugged before taking a sip of her bottle. No harm in admitting to that, it wasn’t like anyone truly believed Meg loved working for Crowley or supported him and his ruling.

ironically enough, the truth was that even if she was being honest, her vote wouldn’t matter much. as long as crowley was on the throne, no one was safe, and that meant unique circumstances for everyone. there were two major sides; lucifer’s and crowley’s very own. if you didn’t chose one, you were with lucifer by proxy, and things rarely went well for them these days.

if anything, ky’lar would have enjoyed lucifer back on earth, but that would have came with far more risks than he was willing to take. not to mention the after effects of such a stunt wouldn’t end well for him or…. anyone that was involved.

to that reason, he took in a deep breath, and then let it out slowly; if she knew her facts, things wouldn’t end well no matter what he did. yet, at the same time, he was at least going to attempt to be decent. after-all, there was little he could do since crowley was running the show, and all freedoms he had from before were more or less dissolved,

❝ the rise of lucifer was something, but at the same time? i’m quite sure crowley won’t let anyone escape their placements —- deals are one thing, but what i want? much larger… ‘specially since it would get me off of someone’s radar.  ❞
