Oooooh she could come up with a list of things not to like. Not that she’d spent the following days after their last encounter doing that exact thing, but she could conjure a list if she needed to! Ed sighed from her hiding spot under the blankets before she sat up and pushed them off of her, fixing him with a smile that was forced, though she tried to make it seem real.
“Welcome to one of my many hotel rooms. Feel free to make yourself at home.”
His following words left her feeling guilty now. No, it wasn’t that she didn’t like him….per say. It was more….he made her nerves. Both thanks to her power to sense all of his power, the fact that she could make all of those worse, and thanks to the fact that….he just did. Ed was used to being nervous, but being nerves with no solid reason as to why was worse.
“What does it matter if I like you or not?”

while i might not have mattered much to anyone if she liked him or not, the demon was at least attempting to be somewhat polite. usually, he would have started demands by now, but there was no use. not when it was quite clear by now that she was at least somewhat frightened of him.
