“It isn’t Heaven’s job to protect humanity from itself. What you speak of– war, famine, sickness– they are beyond the scope of our protection.” It’s not that he enjoys seeing suffering; no, the truth is the opposite. Earth, and by extension humanity, are his father’s creations, and he finds them beautiful. God has a plan, though, and he doesn’t claim to know His will. If something is to happen, it is that way for a reason. “Whether or not you believe that the Earth is protected is not my responsibility, but I can give you a demonstration if you continue down this path.”
