no matter what they had been through, the archangel could always catch the demon off guard, and cause him to pause his entire thought process. ky’lar had said several times over that he loved lucifer, had even gone so far to admit that the angel was his will to live at times, but could he truly admit that he loved him?
the power of being the other’s demon was absolute, anyone that knew ky’lar well could see that, but actual love? he didn’t know how to do so properly; it was usually possession to the point where they were his and no one else’s. yet, at the same time, being with lucifer was different, and it was showing to the point that the demon truly cared about someone else —- even if he had made more mistakes than he could count.
