MERCY wasn’t generally Lucifer’s forte – no he wasn’t too fond of it in all terms but right now he was slightly willing to offer it. Only to see Ky’lar BEG. That was something he wished he could see, he knew the other didn’t do that and well Lucifer wanted to see if he could push the bar a little.
He enjoyed a POWER PLAY every now and then but the ways in which the other had done it were what pissed him off the most. He generally enjoyed watching them all struggle but not when that power was working to overthrow him. And that was exactly what it had TURNED into. So now he was pissed and would continue to be for a long time. He had already had this throne stolen and wouldn’t see it done again.

he should have KNOWN that the stakes would have been RAISED tenfold this time over : the time for GAMES between them were OVER and it caused a slight TWINGE of fear in the back of his mind. there were SEVERAL things that he could DEAL with, torture, being chained up, and even being CONFINED to a cell.
however, he should have KNOWN that the rules would have been CHANGED this time around; what he had done was considered TREASON to many, but the demon didn’t think what he did was ULTIMATELY wrong. it was a way to PROVE what he was capable of and ESTABLISH what was possible WITHOUT being LUCIFER’S demon.
