cfkillers:

the thought of healing seemed so far away to her like she would never be able to heal and she would spend the rest of eternity in pain like this. if that were the case, she would beg one of her brothers or sisters to put her out of her misery.

she dug her hands into the ground and pushed herself up enough to look at him. ‘ y-you still didn’t answer my question. ‘ if she wasn’t in searing pain she would’ve probably put an insult at the end but instead, she just fell back on the ground and tried to concentrate on something other than the burning sensation that spread throughout her vessel.

she tried to think of something that would regrow, if he had taken the skin off her back then it would’ve healed itself by now and been less painful. this pain wasn’t human, it was angelic

if what he had taken was just part of the vessel, things would have gone very differently, but as fate would have it, ky’lar took something important. the one part of the angel that made them special ( aside from their grace ) and as such he knew that eventually he would be forced to pay for his crimes.

however, today was not that day as the demon’s arms folded firmly across their chest,

❛ no, i didn’t, did i? ❜ in his mind, it was a foolish question to ask, but at the same time, ky’lar knew that telling her what he’d done would be the best bet —- especially since she couldn’t harm him. not now at least.

❛ see, i took your wings, and  i don’t think even your father could save you from this. ❜ even if the all father could, there was a large doubt that it would happen, and it was why he was faunting her. to see how she would react,

❛ so, i win. ❜
