  At least not enough. SURVIVAL and SELF PRESERVATION were key in the Brotherhood. Granted, Ky’lar was here for what he FIGURED was temporary...Still, if there was SOMETHING he could walk away with, let it be this at least. 

  ❛ You’re running on LUCK. How long before THAT runs out? What, then? You DIE and no one REMEMBERS who you are. Is that REALLY how you want to leave your MARK?❜

  The answer was meant to be RHETORICAL. His own IDEALS were hard to consume and Magneto had IMPOSED them on others before. Still, this was BASIC.

   He had ENGAGED in reckless behavior before, and MOST of the missions done could be considered SUICIDE missions, at best…but that didn’t mean he didn’t CHARGE in without knowing himself that he had a HUNDRED percent chance of survival.

  The argument was SPEWED from the mouths of two VERY OBSTINATE individuals…yet Magneto wanted to get his POINT across regardless.

  He came close to the other, gently placing his hand across Ky’lar’s cheek.

      ❛ You may not agree with MY methods, either…and I don’t expect you to CHANGE for me…or for ANYONE. But can you understand THIS, at least? I do NOT want you to die. I said you don’t GET to bury me…because I do not WANT to bury YOU.❜

           _{Ky’lar refused to care for himself for a REASON; for all that he was, for all that he could ever be, he would still be a MISTAKE. One, that while he may be AMUSING at times, was still living on BORROWED time, and eventually, that same time would run OUT.}

           _{Luck or not, Ky would have rather done what he WANTED to than deal with ORDERS.  If that meant running on LUCK alone? Well, it was something he would deal with when the time came to it.}

            _{More to the point, Ky didn’t want to DEAL with the consequences of his ACTIONS. If he was caught or even CAPTURED, it wouldn’t be good for ANYONE, least of all himself, and it was why he never THOUGHT about what could happen..}

           _{However, the TOUCH was what managed to SHOCK him back into reality —- Magneto was still there. Still trying to get him to THINK about his actions and also THROUGH to him.}

          _{❛ I’m not going to DIE. ❜}

_{His eyes closed shortly after the statement; fearing that his slight lie would be noticed far before he had a chance to explain himself.}
