❛  guess that’s the harsh reality of hunting…. we don’t set out to kill people, but it is ultimately what we end up doing because we have no choice in saving other people from the people that suffer the unfortunate circumstance of becoming monsters. ❜ he had to explain the guilt away to a lot of hunters in his lifetime, but ultimately, the people they were killing weren’t human anymore… and any sensible person would be happy for them to be stopped from killing people.

❛ i’ve gotten thanked before… usually by demon’s vessels… but also the standard werewolves, vampires. of course, it doesn’t happen too often, but i try to remember that.  ❜ a near lifetime of hunting had made him a bit unaffected by these things, but he still did think about it. he hadn’t gotten to the point of blindly killing like he had seen other hunters get to, so he considered that a blessing.

‘ not all monsters are human or have a choice in the matter. years ago, monsters were better hidden —- they were able to only be myth, but now? humanity thinks they are an erotic fantasy or even worse… try to become them as they think it’s amazing or something like that.’ the amount of kids he knew these days were awful, but he couldn’t really complain — it kept everything running smoothly or so he guessed.

‘demon’s usually leave their vessel’s dead. mainly since some might be able to remember things —- sometimes important, but other times? well, i don’t think they would enjoy having a meat suit alive. not truly at least —- all the same, every being as a poteinal to turn into a nightmare or into something good. usually at least.’
