are—-are they talking about the same jan here??? “if anything she just wants you to be civil and leave her in fucking peace. don’t be a drama queen we all know where it comes from. so sorry you can’t sit in the fancy chair and tell people what to do.”

the amount of chill pills the redhead is sure he needs to take is unreal. “I wouldn’t call it hate. it’s somewhere in the realm of slightly grossed out if were being honest here. which i doubt. half of your genetics is hardwired to lie through your goddamn teeth.” cue the wry smirk, “and the moment you bring meph up like that again it’s going to get violent. So I’m real glad we’ve come to an understanding here.”

it was quite possible that all ky’lar was doing was overacting to the situation; taking the facts and twisting them to what sounded right in his head. of course, the problem was no matter what he tried, acting ‘civil’ didn’t turn out well for long, and the fact of the matter was that he couldn’t remember what got him to the point in the first place that caused things to go so bad.

however, he knew that bringing up his grandfather wouldn’t help matters, and that if anything, it would make things much worse than they already were,

❝ I get it; don’t bring him up. ❞ that was part of it, but not entirely everything,

❝  ‘course, i’ve tried to be civil, attempted it several times, but it never works.❞
