being called a lackey was not something UNUSUAL. maybe they didn’t use the exact word, but they often went as far as ‘sister of the son of the satan’ which was not only unnecessarily confusing, but also plain IDIOTIC. if satana decided to wrap her fingers around his fragile neck at some point of this absolutely lovely conversation, it was probably better for him to think of her less, and her just to play along. in fact, she KNEW she wanted to break a few fingers of his already. that’s how dashing the gentleman was.
“ and PERHAPSyou are of little importance, have you thought about that? if a simple LACKEY is sent to get you, it says more about youthan about me. ”
“Little IMPORTANCE to some, but not all.”
Though, the idea of IMPORTANCE varied through personal thoughts on the matter, and of course NECESSITY. In his mind, it rarely mattered WHO was sent after him — sometimes it was simple LACKEY’S and other times it wasn’t.
“If one was sent after me, it must not have been IMPORTANT, but then again? I’ve been wrong before — general grunts don’t really HAVE the ability to do more than prove some light amusement.”
