Was he trying to sell her a timeshare? She knew enough about Hell from what her boys said – and wouldn’t say to know it was no one’s picnic. Unless you were the one reaping the benefits, she supposed. She rolled her eyes at the comments, his whole spiel of trying to rationalize his evil ways. “What’s yours? They’re humans. They don’t belong to you and you can’t harvest them. Even if they are dumb enough to walk into it.” Then again, talk about stupid. She was trying to talk morality into a demon. “Something tells me we could argue all day and not see eye to eye on this,” she said stepping forward.

“If we’re being technical, humans are vessels to their own souls, and if it wasn’t me taking them, it would be someone else.” At least Ky’lar was giving them what they wanted most of all and then eventually would claim what he wanted. Of course, favors was what he was really after. Souls, on the other hand, he only got a few of for every so many he made deals for. Not that he truly minded, but at the same time, it was annoying.

“Course, you’re right in that regard. We could go on for years and never see each other on this. Now, a few years back? Maybe, I might have even agreed about how taking souls is wrong, but honestly, all i do is make the deals. I don’t touch the souls or know what happens to them.” Well usually, but that was besides the point.
