The thought that this man lived the span of Griffin’s entire life and then some without knowing who he was felt like a punch to his chest. It was having someone’s identity completely rewritten. “What do you mean by CHANGING?

     What, like nonhuman puberty? Griffin’s abilities hadn’t changed as he aged. Sure, he grew stronger, but his abilities had always been a part of him. “Did hunters find you?”

     “Maybe it would have been longer, still, if I didn’t look into crap.” It was quite an assumption of what would or wouldn’t happen if Ky didn’t take the action to look into stuff. Of course, at the same time, it could have came on much sooner, and that… would have made things difficult as well. As it was, there were more than enough death’s attached to his name in the last few years that he stopped caring all together about the lives lost.

After-all, it didn’t take that long to simply quit caring about everything. First it was how he looked, then it was how he acted around people, and finally… it was the lives that were ultimately lost in his anger. It might have only lasted a few months, but it still was enough. “Worse.”
