Some wounds tended to burn and fester and even when they’d heal they’d itch reminding of the cause of such a wound. He knew this to be true and the wounds inflicted by both their actions would be ones they were feeling for a long time. Even when healed the itch would never disappear and consistently be burning.

Forgive or forget was not something that Lucifer knew, he tended to store any slights towards him and hold them before ensuring he found a way to exact his revenge. He wasn’t quite sure if he was going to exact any on Ky and that was something time would tell. But for one thing everyone knew, the ‘devil’ was not known for his patience.

An eyebrow quirks at his question and mulls it over for a few moments. Right now i don’t know. And that question alone was probably the most truth he’d spoken in the last year alone.

he had to try, he always had to try. it wouldn’t be what they had before — nothing could get them to that point, but as per-usual, it was all trying to rebuild the pieces.

as much as ky’lar wanted to keep things together, part of him always wanted to destroy it. to rip it apart until all the good was destroyed and fire was left in their wake. he loved the thrill, loved the idea of getting under the archangel’s skin, but at the same time…it was a recipe for disaster.

and yet, ky knew that he couldn’t say he was sorry. he wasn’t sorry, not for anything truly. he would say he was, even attempt to prove it, but he never was. it was all just words to him with no real meaning.

a reason to why he was willing to put something more on the line…. he was willing to actually admit that he was wrong, but at the last moment… ky’lar refused to say what was needed. instead, he just slid his arms across his chest firmly, “well, you know where i’ll be.”
