there was a pause, one that honestly was done for effect
than anything else, but all the same, ky’lar wanted to make
a point of this. after-all, most of what he did was for show
— if he actually wanted to do something drastic, it took
time, and right now, he was willing to put an a performance
for caleb.
it first started with a blank stare; one that resembled confusion.
