
of course things just had to go south on what he personally thought would have been an easy ‘victory’ against his father. everything was in place, all he had to do was play his cards right, and he would make the board even against the two of them.
an easy play, one that ky had practiced many times, and even assumed most of the inevitable outcomes. the only problem was he didn’t expect his father to not just have his main playbook, but also all his backup one’s as well. it was… of the dangers, one of the least likely, but all the same, it happened, and now he had to deal with getting out of here… well, eventually.
for the moment, he had to deal with the one who would usually torment, but that shouldn’t be too hard. just as long as he was able to sow caleb just who was in control ( as always ), “for the record, this was your fault.” he leaned his head back against the wall as he continued to speak, “just don’t think this changes anything, it doesn’t.”
