endbound:

yeah,   i know.     but,   honestly,   i don’t give a rat’s ass.             the monster that was dormant inside cole clawed awake at the surface of his skin,   and was happy to be free        it was in his smile,   it was in his voice,   it was in his light gait.     another flick on the knife,   and his feet pulled him back to lengthen distance between the pair.

stoic soldier,     this is your high.     as cole wrapped his hand in padding,   lacing the white fabric around his digits before wrapping around his palm,   his gaze bore ahead of him.     the vibrating sensation that drummed at his fingertips was all much like when he was with the angels,    tapping into a side of him that was inhumane.               just tell me where the big boss is,   and you can go.

he never would tell where his boss was.     ky would have suffered a fate worse than death for that.     whatever he knew,      whatever he really knew about lucifer’s location would never be revealed.      it was a secret, one that humans shouldn’t find.     after-all,       they no longer ruled the earth, and never would again.

‘ you really know nothing about my kind,     do you?    ’  simple words;  said to get a reaction,    nothing more,    and nothing less.  ‘ you’ll never find him. you can torture thousands of demons,   but you’ll never get close.   not unless he wants you to. ‘
