The fights between the two were almost monumental in their capacity. They tended to do things their own way. And when it came to both of their angers it meant things tended to explode and it was almost becoming a signature of theirs. Lucifer was used to it and if they weren’t arguing then he was almost worried the two of them had lost their edge. Lips pull upwards as the other repeats his words, cementing just what it was he had spoken.

Hmm. words spoken softly as he begins to pace. Begins to understand that someone could actually love him. Him. the bringer of all things bad in the world, who was blamed for more things than his father. It was a foreign concept and one he wasn’t sure how to handle. And maybe i love you too. that was as far as his confession was going to go. At least for now.

for what it was worth, their fights were the usual for the both of them, and even ky doubted it would ever change. it was just how they were; when a fight didn’t happen… it usually meant something bad was about to happen. a reason to why ky knew that saying the words was far more dangerous than anything else.

yes, he made sure to follow the other, and yes… he sacrificed everything for the archangel. not due to the fact he was lucifer, not due to the fact he was an archangel, but rather, it was something he couldn’t even put a label on.

“and maybe we’ll find a way out of this mess… together.” it was a hope… maybe then things could start changing for the better. that way…maybe then he could start rebuilding everything he’d destroyed, but getting back would have to wait until they found a way. something… that ky was sure they would find… together.
