The Winchester smiled, a forced bitter smile that didn’t reach his eyes. The demon’s words sounded like a threat, something the hunter was used to though. It didn’t bother him. What bothered him was the guy’s attitude, thinking he had power over him. That he got to chose his fate. The only power he truly had was his utility and that was the only reason why he wasn’t dead yet. He lifted his chin with a sardonic hum, taunting as he approached the other. There was defy in his proximity.

“How about you just focus on helping me and I won’t end you. I’m reaching you for this, it means I need you alive. Now and after. So, no, I’m not lying. As long as you get the key to what I want, you get to stay alive. Don’t get cocky, man, I don’t like working with your kind and if I lose my temper for a second, I might lose my key.” he was threatening. If there was something Dean Winchester didn’t have, was the fear of dying. Not anymore. And he wanted the demon to be very aware of that.

“—- and i don’t like your kind.” he should have held his tongue in check. that way, they could have moved forward with out any problems. then again, that wasn’t ky’s style. “so, now that it’s settled? let’s start with a quick ground rule, yes? if i think for a second that you’re going back on our deal… i’ll send you to a place not even angels can bring you back from.”  it was more of a promise than a threat, but either way… he wasn’t going to push his luck more than he already had done.

more to the point it was also keeping him safe. the moment this was over with, ky would head back to a nice hotel room, and drink the night away. that way, everything would go smoothly for him after all. dealing hunters wasn’t his style… well, not usually at least, “got that?”
