mmm, let me think about it ——     arms still crossed over her chest, one hand rose to rest under her chin — the thinker in the flesh — for just a moment as she made contemplative noises as if seriously considering the question.      —i’m gonna go with nope, and that’s my final answer, regis, because if you hadn’t noticed, that dagger would have killed you if you were really human.         or various other creatures, for that matter, but the point was moot.

speaking of. any chance you wanna hand it back over ?  it’s kind of a big deal in the whole slayer lore of it all, and i know one very cranky old british dude that will have both our heads if i lose it to ——         a hand waved up and down in front of her while a confused scowl painted her features, as if to indicate him.       —— you know, whatever you are.

❛ more to the point, ❜ he flipped the dagger again in his hand, ❛ if i was just human, you would have killed me, and we wouldn’t be having this joyful conversation, ❜ he then handed the dagger towards her,  ❛ would we? ❜
