casual reminder: DO NOT mouth off to an entity that’s stronger than you if you’re not prepared for the consequences. some of these characters would not think twice about killing or seriously wounding your character. these characters have power and have every reason to use said power. you want to play that game? please do!  BUT ONLY IF you understand the implications of doing so. DO NOT force me to go out of character simply because you cannot handle the idea of your muse getting hurt. but to expect your character to mouth off / insult / whatever to one that significantly stronger or more powerful than yours and walk away unscathed is unrealistic and unfair.
