Lucifer would scarcely admit that he had FEELINGS for the othe. One’s that wove into the very fabric of the angel but thus he as still the same as he had always been and there were LIMITS to jut how far someone could push him and lately Ky had been pushing that limit with a deadly purpose that caused the archangel to revert back to the emotionless shell he was known to be by the ones he called BROTHERS.
He hadn’t WANTED to be this way with Ky’lar. If anything the angel had been COMFORTABLE with the way things were but of course the power play had become a factor and everything changed. It was not something Lucifer was happy with and it shows as he eyes the other APPRECIATIVE that his words and lesson had finally seemed to sink into the other’s skull. An eyebrow raises as though challenging, waiting to see how much fight the other had or if they could simply pretend this incident never happened and yet STILL TAKE AWAY the lessons learned from it.
the line was drawn and he couldn’t escape the simple fact that he felt bare. his attempt to win over the other through power failed and he was back at the start. true, he didn’t think that things would go this far, but now that they had… he knew that his position was unstable. it didn’t matter how much lucifer cared for him. nor did it matter how much he tried to prove himself – with in moments he could lose everything.
a reason to why he was attempting to compose himself; things wouldn’t be the same. they could never be the same. not now, not a year from now, and not anytime soon. he could try to fake it, but in doing so would happen to be a lie. not to say he wouldn’t have found himself using them eventually, but he wanted to be decent… or try to be at least.
his hands formed into tight fists, but he tried to relax them. he had fight, he did, but he didn’t want to find himself on the wrong side of lucifer. not not – not anytime soon. no, he was going to bide his time and hopefully things would repair themselves in time.
