“Well maybe you’re right. There is something about where you’re from and who you are that you could say, is’t quite the traditional diffintion of man but— since you’ve got that form, it’s just easier to refer to you in that way.”

She bit down on her lower lip, hands clasped in front of her. She could see that he had no interest in anything about her and most likely that also stemmed to anything that she had to say but there had to be a reason he was sitting in front of her. Becca took a deep breath before finally gazing back towards him. She slightly shook her head before speaking. “So, I can tell that you usually could care less what any person has to say to you but— for some reason, you’re sitting here in front of me, in my compound. So— since you don’t like your time wasted and I usually don’t like wasting my own time guessing what someone wants, or waiting for them to just tell me what I’ve already gathered from their thoughts and feelings—- why don’t we just skip all that and get down to business. What can I do for you Ky’lar, son of Blackheart.”

since she knew who he was, there was no doubt in his mind that she knew the extent ( or at least a portion ) of what he was capable of. a reason to why he decided to skip the theatrics and just get to the point of why he was here. 

that way, he wouldn’t have to waste anytime getting to the point of the matter. no, he would go in head first, and say everything out-right. that way, both of them could save more time than wasting it going through unnecessary pleasantries.

“i’m here on a family matter. more specifically, finding information on the humans that raised me.” it wan’t exactly all of it, but it was a start, and then he could maybe start piecing together his past. or at least some of it.
