Of course he would. What else would he do, but she’d rather say that she helped than to watch him suffer without any effort to comfort him.

“Well, at least let me put them on so I can say that I tried.”

Eddie said stubbornly, cleaning him up and wrapped a light, but tight wrap around his arms. Annoyed that he had to prove he was big and scary and determined to make her suffer for being nice. Probably a demon thing.

she would try. that was the one thing that he could give her credit for. even when he had attempted to push her away… she still tried to push harder to stay. maybe he just wasn’t doing the right thing or he hadn’t figured out how to properly get her to stop caring about him.
he didn’t need anyone caring for him. no one had before. why would anyone in their right mind suddenly start now.

either way, he pulled his arms back to his sides shortly after she had wrapped his arms out of habit. he didn’t even need them wrapped — give a few hours and he would be fine. it was how it always was. well, usually. “you didn’t need to do that.” though, he know it didn’t matter how he voiced his displeasure… she would always try to fix him. another reason he needed to pull him self away from here and finally leave.
