“Beliefs are forged by men, yet not all men are good,” Elias replied, almost as if he was echoing the demon’s motion unintentionally, the Warlock raised his hand and looked down to his bleeding palm. After all, such ritual required a powerful medium, and Elias’ blood was just powerful enough for it. 

“I summoned thee, ” The Warlock spoke, “Because there are dangers surrounded me, and I am in need of protection.” He sighed, reached down to pick up the relic from the summoning circle, soaked it with his own blood. “I can bind you, force you to obey me. That was what my family would do, what my family taught me to do. However…I want a deal.” Elias looked up, looked straight into the demon’s eyes, “Tell me, what’s your price?”

everyone wanted something. it didn’t matter if they were a demon, human, or otherwise. ky just happened to be the one stuck answering this call and he already regretted it. “oh, trust me,“ he said, arms folding across his chest. “stronger men have tried.” 

of course, he could have gone on to elaborate, but that wasn’t in the cards for the moment. no, ky was going to have his fun, and go on from there. “more importantly, you ask for a price, but i fail to see what you could possibly offer in return.”
