No, he most certainly wasn’t – a fact that filled Thor with a mixture of annoyance and apprehension. Kratos’ godslaying potential could not be underestimated, nor could he suffer the thought of letting him live. The gods had their weaknesses, just as mortals were prone to die before long, and whilst it meant that he had to include himself in such a group, it was all for the sake of finding the means to bring about the spartan’s downfall.

“Good, for he’ll soon taste the full extent of my wrath.” Brought about with lightning, fury and tempests aplenty, he wished only the worst for the god of war. “But let us not stand here and waste any further time on meaningless conversation. I desire the pale one’s head as penance for the blood of mine that was shed by this bastard’s hands.” But before he could do so, he’d need to gather allies. Worshippers were preferred – he could at least exploit their faith in him – but should this stranger proved to be the curious sort, he’d not say a word against letting him join his dark plight.

“What say you, worm of this rotten land? Are you to stand by my side, when I bring mine hammer crashing down against this Spartan’s skull? Or do you mean to object?”

“I don’t object, but I would like to issue a warning – fighting the Ghost is not going to be easy. He’s taken down a fair share of gods and other beings alike.” it wasn’t an objection – like he said, it was a warning. Ky might not have placed bets on Kratos or even Thor for that matter, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to help.

“If you fail, you’ll join the dead, but if you succeed… you’ll be more than simply a hero.” He was about to say a few more things, but it wasn’t the time nor the place for it – least of all when the odds of Thor killing the other were very low. Even if there was an army behind the God… it was still very very low.

“Either way, someone will have to stop him eventually…lest he’ll start coming for my kind and with-out gods… all of reality will crumble.”
