feint magics tickled the back of his mind — whispers of distrust weaving through his thoughts as he listened to the other man speak aloud his.. alias. he would not mention the fact that he did not fully believe his white lie — but he wasn’t truly all that interested in knowing his true name, at least not at this point as it did not matter.

   it’s a pleasure to meet you, james..   ”   he quirked an eyebrow, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly as he paused.   “   i apologize in advance for appearing a bit.. melancholy, it’s merely been that sort of day, so far.

           “those sort of day’s happen far too often to count.” ky knew that first hand. if it wasn’t one thing… it was another. the harsh part about reality was something  would always go wrong regardless of where he personally stood on the matter.
            “and the pleasure is all mine – i’d offer you a drink, but they don’t serve hard  liquor here unfortunately.” if they did… ky would have downed at least three bottles of  whiskey by now.  “so, a coffee will have to suffice.”
