“we want to know the truth about our daughter… want to see her. we’ve been feeling her loss for a long damn time – and the fact that we can hug her again? talk to her?” kyle was overcome with emotion. overjoyed, but also worried about what she could possibly be a part of that made her feel like she needed to keep the fact that she was alive hidden from them. his mind was barely focused on any words apart from the fact that his daughter was alive.
clarissa on the other hand only grew further worried about what her daughter had been up to – what the winchesters truly were. there was something going on, because they had seen footage of the two dying several times on the news, yet they seemed to be still running around. had jessica ever truly died? “what do you mean she’s merely human? — what the heck are you?”
“no,” he said, not even bothering to care to listen to whatever clarissa had to say. in-fact, he was willing to put his foot down on this subject. if only due to the fact he was possessive and was willing to put jess’s own safety before anything else.
“the more people that know about her… the more complicated this can get.” he knew what would happen if the winchesters decided to ‘get her back’ or even worse… try to convince her of lies. well, not exactly lies, but the truth about ky. he wouldn’t hand her over to anyone, but he was still dangerous. he was still a demon.
“there are forces at work here you won’t understand.” a pause. “forces, you only hear about in old stories, but the fact of the matter is that this isn’t a story.” his lips pursed into a thin-line. “this is real and the moment you get involved in this… it’s highly likely you will die.”
