if it was UP TO HIM, he’d not be anywhere near here; he wasn’t a hero. he wasn’t anything close to that little title. and yet here he was – trying to save people due to the fact he FOUND himself in the situation. either way, he gave a slight two-fingered salute in their direction as they left.
it WOULDN’T take him long to do what was needed; several options were at play here. disarming the bomb, letting it go off, throwing it into the ocean, or down a back alley. there were MORE options than just those, but with time being LIMITED, he chose the DISARMING option due to the fact that it would take MORE time to do either other option at the current time.
❝ alright, ❞ he said, taking a glance at the wires, and then he rubbed his temples with his left hand. ❝ let’s see if this works. ❞ time wasn’t something he had on his side so… he decided to just yank all the wires out at once. if he was lucky, maybe he wouldn’t end up destroying everything around him, but at the same time? well, it wasn’t like he had any other choice… besides just throwing it into a river or something like that.
