The walk they take is brief in duration, embarked upon so as to keep all other distractions at bay. This had not been the first time that Odin had welcomed the seed of another progenitor into his household, though it would be the last, for he had his fair share of sons already.

“How are you adjusting to your new accommodations?” He enquires, making an attempt at small talk. The fires of hell had raged furiously, nipping at his heels as he took the demon’s shire, barely a boy, from Blackheart’s clutches, his blessed spear still wet with the fiend’s spilled blood.

“Should you require company, I can task one of my sons to handle this task.”

All he remembered was he was going to be shown something. Truth be told, he didn’t even know what that something was in all reality, but this was different. He couldn’t place his finger on it; nor did he think it mattered.

Rage filled his very being at being taken away from the place he knew until now,  but he still hadn’t fully developed a sense of self yet. Just the burning hatred for everything around him and the red and black he knew to be family.

Here everything was different – people (more so like himself) were here. Something he didn’t understand, but wasn’t exactly too sure to comment about. There were no creatures like back home, but he wasn’t even able to understand about what they truly were. Not yet at least.
“Different,” he managed to get out as he glanced to the ground. Of course, the mention of company was unknown to him at the moment. He didn’t even know what it meant if he was being truly honest with himself. A reason to why he asked. “Company? Whats… that?”

        “–WHY are you here?!”

There were many things that he could have said to her; all of them would end up with an argument or even violence of some sort. still, that didn’t mean he wouldn’t at least try – it was the least he could do after all.
“You won’t believe my answer anyways… so i shouldn’t even try.”

FOR A MOMENT – no more than just a simple moment, he’d FORGOTTEN just how HARSH Thor was. His words and his very BEING was something he wasn’t entirely used to. It was a HARSH reality, but while he spoke the truth, it was one he actually thought about accepting.

IT WAS IN THAT TIME PERIOD that all breath was taken from. If he was human, he’d have possibly be gasping for breath, but he wasn’t. Instead he just stayed still; his chest slowly lifting and falling second by second by the time Thor took that slight taste of that coppery red liquid.

KY’LAR LEANED INTO THOR during that short amount of time; his mind racing with possibilities…  even one’s he knew would never come to pass. More so, it was one of the few times he actually thought of himself as more than a simple mistake.

HOWEVER, IT DIDN’T LAST LONG; the moment he was pushed away, everything ENDED. Those feelings faded; replaced with the usual rage and contempt for the entirety of creation. Whatever Ky was in those few moments… it was no more.

THE WORDS STRUCK LIKE A CORD; something to yank him back to reality… even if that was the last thing he wanted. Even so, the words were true, and it just deepened his hatred. Deepened it closer to a point of no return.

❝ NEITHER DO YOU. ❞ his words came out icy as ky rubbed at his lip with the back of his right hand. ❝ so pompous that you’re WORSE THAN A ROYAL PRAT. ❞

‘ there are just some things you’re not meant to know, ky. and threatening me won’t further your goals. ‘

‘i wouldn’t consider it a threat, but rather a promise.’ no, it wasn’t one he’d even go through with, but she was right. far more than he was actually willing to admit. ‘you know how i am with them.’

THE ALIEN IS SKEPTICAL. someone who can promise so much is normally someone who is lying. still, she could use the work. “a weapon?” typical. “what type of weapon?”

HE COULD HAVE SAID THE ENTIRETY of what was required for this little scheme of his. could have said many things, but instead, ky’lar decided to go towards the much simpler route of only giving out what information was necessary. “one that i’m quite sure will be easy to obtain… given your skills, but to be blunt? it should be able to take out someone who’s been a thorn in my side.” a pause. “or even start a war.”

“Reward or not, Lucifer is better than Crowley. He has no idea
what the hell he’s doing, and making Hell look like a joke.
Making his cronies where suits instead of leather— he wouldn’t
know Hell if it slapped him in the face.”

“I tried wearing a suit, but it wasn’t comfortable.” A simple fact he thought needed to be said, but all the same, he knew what she meant. Hell always changed, but somethings stayed the same. There was structure to the chaos – something that Crowley never seemed to grasp. Not even now that he had the throne. “Then again, a corn chip would be better than him.”
