pale lips twisted into a regaled smile, the sharpness of fangs revealed as he purred. like an opened book and words revealed, KY’LAR presented VLAD with what he sought. panic… perhaps fear… a plea. an ANSWER.
« — i can not hear you for once. what a delightful sound to my ears, my dear KY’LAR. »
he could feel the beat of the man’s heart as it quickened its pace enticing a craved longing to feed within the VAMPIRE’s entire frame. instantly, he released the demon and took a step back, ignoring his urge.
« — i am in no MOOD to be toyed with… »
this WASN’T a game. ky wanted to state those OBVIOUS words at vlad with no SHAME. to make it quite clear that ky knew what he was playing – no DEALING with.
the SHARPNESS of the fangs DIDN’T bother him. nor did he MIND actually feeling PANIC for once. those emotions were usually dulled to the point it took something MAJOR for them to surface.
ANGER and RAGE were the easier of the emotions to bring out… PANIC and FEAR were largely unknown. BOTH of them were intertwined and ky’lar DESPERATELY wanted to experience every RANGE of emotions he could obtain. the only PROBLEM was that he HATED showing anything other than his USUAL distance – to get him going took something else.
it was something ky suspected vlad DIDN’T know about or maybe this would happen all to often. no, being PREDICTIVE made him bored and it’s allure DULLED over time.
surprises were NEEDED and yet now the demon was going to give VLAD something he CRAVED. it was done out of a split second DECISION; against his MUCH better judgement.
“are you now?” he asked, grin spreading across his lips; a far cry from the PANIC that was just there moments before. “perhaps you’d enjoy a GIFT.” a SMUG smirk as he leaned his head back and rubbed at his throat.
“i’m all yours.” it was a taunt; one he hoped VLAD would take. it was a RISKY one and yet ky was OFFERING himself as a meal FREELY. and he KNEW the consequences of what would happen if things went BADLY. – unless you DON’T want a taste.”

don’t think she never noticed him not calling her some maternal name, or even anything affectionate. she wasn’t sure exactly why she was excluded from being called mother, something her heart ached for, but val’shara never brought it up. ky could be so very like his father, unwilling or unable to discuss, or explain. she had learned that the hard way. person sounded so clinical, cold.
‘ for something, perhaps. not for much. ‘ val’shara pulled her veil back down, so her son wouldn’t see the tears in her eyes. ‘ has your father been criticizing you again? ‘
‘does it matter?’
it was easier to avoid explaining anything. he could try, but in the end, ky didn’t think anyone would truly care. he sealed himself away from everyone -even himself- from the world. he worked towards trying to destroy it… trying to end it. just so he could fill that void that seemed to be nowhere and everywhere at once.
‘i haven’t seen him in weeks.’
a look!
Ky needs friends, but at the same time… he tries to kill his friends.
“Well of course! I do great things all the time” He chuckled, though it was definitely strained. Not that putting out fires was an incredibly stressful activity for him – in fact it was incredibly laid back comparatively.
But as he finished saving the building, he willed the ice to melt, allowing for access to the building again. Bobby turned back to the man, now able to give his full attention.
“Yeah, I’d ice you over but you’d be one cool guy.”
“One cool guy – is that all you’ve got?” If this was any other time, Ky wouldn’t have been poking fun with this guy – an x-man, but so far? He didn’t see any real need to resort towards anything drastic.
“I would have thought something a bit more… dramatic; after-all, you put out those fires without breaking a sweat.” Maybe that wasn’t exactly the best thing to say, but then again, Bobby was made of ice – so there wasn’t much more he could say besides some pretty horrible ice-puns.
“— And I while I usually would enjoy an ice-bath? I just don’t feel like it’s needed at the moment.”
“No – I’m sorry, continue with your lie. I’m sure it was well thought out.”
He just stared at Tony for a few moments. To be found out this early on was problematic, but since he was? Might as well head straight for the truth or maybe not. He really didn’t know what path to chose at the moment. “There is no need now; how long did it take you to catch on? Just wondering.”
