Ruin

“Right now I’M the one that wants you skinned alive,” she growled.

Natalia refrained from HITTING her so called ‘perfect’ boyfriend that had once seemed TOO GREAT to really be happening; now she was wishing she had just WALKED AWAY when they first met.

“…I want you to LEAVE. And don’t come back next time. I’m DONE.”

“what’s the word most say these days?” a pause. “oh- yes!”a slight grin pulled at his lips for a few moments; eyes narrowing on her form. “i believe that it’s called get in line. i have so many people wanting my head- even my family, but this won’t stop. not until i had myself over or i tear every last one apart.” he wasn’t ready for either choice, but he was at least setting the facts straight ( for the moment ). “so, if you want me to leave? i’ll leave, but do remember that this isn’t over. not by a long shot.”

Eyebrows push together, jaw going slack and Peter knows the man is messing with him, yet the more he talks, the more he explains himself – what he wants… It leaves him feeling nervous. There’s an anxious flutter in his chest, an urge to flee the situation except Peter is glued against the wall. “I’m not going to do anything illegal.” His words come out firm despite how he’s feeling and he tries to straighten his back.

Shoulders taught and there’s determination in his eyes. “Simply telling me you need access isn’t going to get any kind of help from me.” Peter takes a step away from the wall, pushes down his nerves and the fleeing sensation. “What is it that you’re after – or need?”

“Is everything so black and white for you?” Maybe it was and Ky would have to work through that, but for now, he was going to start small. Something that while he didn’t want to – would more than likely be better than requesting that Peter steal the file for him.

“Legal, Illegal, Right, and even Wrong. It’s all just perceptions.” A pause. “Or, you can think of it as different points of view.” Either way, it didnt matter to him – not really at least. “As for what I want,” Ky took a few steps forward, “It’s simply a little distraction of sorts. See, I have been tracking down this little piece for years, and to be quite fair? it’s rightfully mine. So, it’s not stealing… just reclaiming.”

villains are hard to play —

familyispower:

Please remember that just because someone is playing a villainous character doesn’t mean that they don’t love their character, or don’t have a version of it that is perhaps new to you. Respect the muns of villains as much as you would respect any other mun, and remember to work with them.

It is very hard to play a villainous character in a world full of heroes and cinnamon rolls, and the muns who pick them up and are willing to give them a try deserve some extra support and love, because they’re going to need it. Love the villain muns, respect their autonomy as players, and don’t try to force their character to submit to your plot desires just because you’re playing a hero. Heroes might not always win, and heroes are not always more interesting, not always better characters – they’re just typically more popular because most of us want to be good, and it’s a lot easier to self-insert with a morally good character for many people.

Respect your villains. If they’re canon characters, don’t assume that they’re all the same as every other one you’ve seen. If they’re original, respect that their mun is giving you a neat new antagonist to deal with.

Conflict is necessary, and villain muns deserve to enjoy their RP experience, too!

fryordie:

Whilst he would strongly deny that he wished such to be the case, the lie he tried to sell was hampered by his desperate actions, fingers turned crimson tipped as he scratched and shredded his own flesh in trying to move what remained unmovable when it desired to be a hindrance. “Curb your tongue, vile one! You know not what you speak of!” More desperate mewling tears from the blond’s quivering jaws, fear transmuting into recovered rage as more time passes without further incident witnessed.

Spiralling, the Odinson paid little heed to Ky’s outpouring of honesty, the reversal of roles near enough complete. Mjolnir was gone from his grip, doomed never to return before its destruction whilst, a demon through and through, an enemy he had come to blow with more times than he had fingers to count with was appointed as his immediate successor. None it made sense; not the mallet’s change of heart nor the reason why it would go to Ky of all candidates other than a matter of proximity.

Thumping the side of the hammer with the heel of a hammer in sheer frustration, such venting had the luck of coinciding with Ky’s recollection of the hammer, at which it was sent flying away, allowing the former Thor to roll onto his side, inhaling deep, hurried breathes. Relieved to be freed, he wastes little time in clambering awkwardly onto his feet, icy-cold hues glaring the other’s way as he stands unsteadily. Unable to accept that he no match against the empowered demon so long as that blasted mallet deemed him worthy.

“Clearly that wish has been granted! And look at how you’ve chosen to spend it!” Tone dripping with cynicism, the Odinson slowly stumbles toward’s Ky’s position, one foot dragging behind the other in a display that showed the blond was one of the walking wounded; too stubborn to read the writing on the wall. “You’ve squandered every chance ever put before you, Ky’lar Richardson. This latest…insult…is but a temporary arrangement. You’ll fall and fail again just as you’ve always done, due to your inability to control your own nature.”

Ky knew his words would sting in some form or another. The truth of the matter was that no matter what he said… he wouldn’t get through to the former God. It was a change of roles; the demon acting more like the once God and the former God acting more like the demon.

Still, it didn’t stop a grin forming across his lips as the hammer was back firmly in his gasp. It was a testament to what he was now – not Demon, not Human, and not even a God. He didn’t even know what he was these days, but the boost of self-confidence the weapon gave him was enough to push him in the right direction.

Ky’lar felt like he could not just climb mountains, but move them as well. He could bring his family to their knee’s and take what was rightfully his. It would have been so easy to do so, but he didn’t want that position. Nor did he want to fall back into old habits.

Instead, he focused on doing what could to keep himself at peace with himself. He focused on keeping himself centered and moving in a better direction. That way, maybe if he ever lost this hammer – this tool and weapon? Maybe he wouldn’t revert back to the very way’s he saw Thor in now. Though, Ky… he was worse and he knew it.

There was no comment in return for the quip about how he chose to spend his newfound power. Nor, did he think that it would be beneficial to respond to any other insults. After-all, why should someone who was worthy listen to one so unworthy?

A bit of self-ego was coming into play and was only tripled by the unworthy one’s next words. That name – everything was was drowned out as he heard that name that haunted him day and night. That same name the proved that he would always be less than he was now. He’d always be chained to it- like a feral dog on a leash.

Ky wasn’t a dog – not anymore. One day, he’d break those chains; break that name and forge a new one. Something that would just be him – not that stupid idiotic human name. The very name that served to prove just what he was and could never be.

A reason to why a low growl escaped his lips as his eyes narrowed. Thor was wounded; it would serve no purpose to simply fight him like this, but this wasn’t a fight. It was a simply going to be a warning; one that would hopefully serve a true purpose.

“don’t,” he sucked in a deep breath as he let the hammer almost fall from his grasp, but the grip was kept on it, “use,” he pulled his hand back, “that,” he then threw it right at the former God’s chest, “name!”
it wasn’t meant to hurt the former God badly, but instead, it was meant to keep the other on the ground. That way, Ky could give a verbal battering with-out any true risk to himself.

❝ i know what you’re thinking; middle of nowhere, a guy comes up to you in a very fancy suit, and he has an offer for you. not just any offer, but a great one – all you have to do is sign a paper and you can rule the world. so, tell me…what is it you want, but instead of your soul… i just want a favor. one that i can claim at any time up to and past your inevitable demise. ❞
