Ky basically spoke the truth on that one, since she really couldn’t help him with this little problem of his. She had herself to look out for, she couldn’t distract herself with the meaningless tasks that other people had. She had to go back to being a stone-cold, fight for yourself and no one else demon. Meg gave a shrug, as if she actually felt sorry. Did she really? Probably not.
“Yeah —- tough luck. Besides, I wouldn‘t trust too any of the demons in this day and age, unless the pig of a king we have takes a liking to you.”
“he’s not the true king.” such simple words; one’s that would get him killed in most places. still he had too much value ( in his mind ) to be slaughtered right off the bat. ky still had a right to that damnable throne, but wasn’t going to take it unless there was good reason to. crowley could have the chair, but eventually. he’d lose it, and that was when ky would use whatever power came with-it to end that shit-nosed so called ‘king’ once and for all.
“ an’ demons are always tricky. they just follow power – right now, that’s him, but soon enough? it will be someone. someone much more powerful than some shit-stain red eyed demon.”

the last thing ky needed right now was more trouble. it seemed almost every other day someone was after him and while usually he could hold them off? this time around he actually lost his edge. training was what he should have been doing – that much was clear now – as he leaned against the wall sucking in deep breaths, whatever weapon they used he was actually bleeding… badly. he’d heal, he always did, but he had a feeling it wouldn’t be for a long while.
“—alright,” he said, eyes closing tightly as he kept his right hand on his side. “you proved your point.”
“Not every problem has to be resolved by death.” The unfortunate truth was that it couldn’t be avoided but Steve was trying to come to terms with that. “But seeing as you don’t care anymore can you kindly move out of my way?”
“Not every problem has to be solved by life either.” A simple statement, nothing more, and nothing less. Though, he doubted it would be taken that way. “I could do something you know, but I see no point in delaying the inevitable.” Not when Ky’lar could just step aside and watch events unfold naturally with-out any outside support or hindrance.
“I’m not looking for love,” The Witch admitted with a huff. “I understand what love is and I know that not everybody is capable of this,” he addressed taking a breath. “Just how some people can’t run or aren’t physically fit, some aren’t able to love,” he admitted. “Love is a skill. It takes effort. It requires discipline.” And a smile. Vico then offered a hand. “My name is Vico Martínez,” he nodded. “Perhaps we can be of assistance and keep this entirely professional, without pesky love getting in the way.”
humanity developed feelings for others they could relate to or cared for. even ky had been….guilty of such actions before. he knew how subtile emotions could effect someone – to the point of even ruining empires. a reason to why he distanced himself from them. there was no need for anything other than two emotions that burned brighter than any other; rage and hatred. at least… when the need called for it. “then what are you looking for?” a simple question as his hands slipped into his back pockets. “or, rather, what do you need me for?”
