[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: I cut broken people open and fix them.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: Or I used to.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: You are anything but.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: I can’t think of once occasion where you’ve been anything other than awful.

[ SMS→ STRANGE ]:  you haven’t given me a chance.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: i can be quite decent you know.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: it just takes some time.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: besides… i wouldn’t call it awful.

he’s heard this threat far too many times to take it seriously. he spends a few weeks in the pit and the moment Ky gets bored, he takes him out. for some reason the idiotic demon keeps thinking that would break his spirit or make him compliant. nothing could manage that. now that he’s refusing to cooperate, he’s a quip away from being back in chains again. if you’re waiting for me to beg we’re going to be in for a long-ass night.

“do you know why i’ve kept you around?” the answer was quite obvious in his mind. though, it was more than just keeping caleb around as ky got bored. no, the demon wanted amusement – on most days. of course, a human would have been too easy to mold. no, he wanted something that wouldn’t bore him.  “besides the fact you’re amusing at times?”

The words burned, but… he had a point. What good WAS she doing here? Making herself sick with stress, holding back her family on hunts… getting holy water and salt rounds, that was all she could really manage wasn’t it? Well, that and losing sleep poring over old tomes for research. All in all, not a whole lot of help to the others out in the field.   “ You’re right… y-you’re right. I don’t know why I k-keep going like this. —— You’re r-right. “

“i’m ALWAYS right.” a lie, he wasn’t, but he wanted her to be safe. maybe not safe completely, but enough so maybe she WOULDN’T be in the crossfire when something big happened. “just like i know something is coming an’ you should stay out of it, viv.”

"you sure ‘bout that?” maybe once he had a chance, but that didn’t matter now. not when all ky wanted to do was cause the other pain. true, caleb had been amusing once, but it turned out to be more of an annoyance than anything else. “’cause i could make it happen.”

“Yes,” Castiel said bluntly. He didn’t trust demons— or anyone affiliated with them— in the slightest. In the end, their true nature always revealed itself, and they served no one but themselves and their so-called “God.” In short, whatever this man wanted was most likely only going to serve a means to an end, and the angel wasn’t going to help him achieve that.

Of course Castiel knew what he was referring to. The Ark of the Covenant was not an obscure relic, and he knew why Heaven had sent him here. It only made sense that demons would want it, too. “That object won’t serve any purpose for you,” he said. “Your information was wrong.”

image

“all objects serve a purpose. you just lack the ability to see it.” even if ky couldn’t use it – there were other’s that could. press on the right pressure points and humans would do whatever he asked. it was all about patience; personal or otherwise to obtain exactly what he wanted.

“not to mention understand why i’d want my hands on such a thing.” he took a step forward. “then again, i don’t serve hell, i don’t serve the humans, and i believe… i don’t have to listen to snot nosed grace filled angels either.” or at least for the moment. “so, if i decide to go after something unattainable? that’s my choice.”

“Color me interested. I’ll at least hear ya out.” Logan raised an eyebrow at the man before him. He wasn’t oozing power, but he didn’t seem weak, which could spell danger for him if the other was the kind of guy to seek trouble. He’d been making a bit of a life in this town as its newest resident that was slowly making himself a presence in the community. Yet, every time he got settled, something would come along and hurt or kill those he was closest to.

Ky had truthfully gotten farther than he had expected in this conversation already. Not that it mattered too much to him – what he knew about Logan was close to nothing. So, he was treading on dangerous waters – waters that at any moment could breed violence. A reason to why he was attempting to keep his tongue in check ( more or less ). “First,” he said, “How about a round – on me, of course.”

“HE REJECTED us you know. we were lost, DYING, and we needed a host and we FOUND one in eddie brock. we became his other half. we became VENOM. now? now it’s time to have our REVENGE on the one who REJECTED us both! we know his secrets, we know where he lives, and by the time dawn has come? SPIDER-MAN WILL BE DEAD!

Inclined to bow to lesser compulsions himself, this particular arena of combat had always tended to draw the worst out of those that passed into its embrace.  Dante remained static for as long as the other half-breed took to shedding any covers of a human disguise, which thankfully didn’t take more than a few moments to complete.

Already in motion, Dante’s fang filled jaws open further apart, a piercing growl slipping into the air as runs, then leaps, his form a blur of red scales and bristling strength as he lunges at Ky, tackling him to the ground. Pleased to have done so, the transformed slayer chatters in a series of fluctuating tones, creating a tempo that he times his strikes to as he slashes at the other’s dark face, his arms, his neck. All popular places for the accomplished killer to strike – and bring swift end to this scuffle, should fortune guide his malevolent hand to victory here this day.

all emotions besides the need to kill were eliminated from his mind. it was a simple fact to know one’s self in this form was the best. of course, for ky, he hated it with every fiber of his being. he hated having less control than he did usually and now? all he saw was red and that unending need to slaughter anything or anyone in his path.

furthermore, a low hiss escaped his lips as he was tackled; expected. even more so when ky wasn’t the intentional aggressor. dante made the first – and bold – move. a reason to why ky had to make one better.

the only problem was that he was forced into the defensive mode. while his hide may have been thick – he wasn’t indestructible. a few more precise blows and this little spat of theirs would find a quick ( and quite bloody ) end.

moving his arms up to protect his neck was easy; his arms taking the blunt of the blows ( due to the bloody fact that was what was protecting him ). still, the moment he saw an opening ( even if very slight ) he decided to take it

kicking forward with his legs and trading defense into offense as he moved to claw his way forward; anything to get on top of this fight. anything to prove that he was the one that could win this. after-all, all his time in hell had proven is that the demon who was on top ruled. that was what ky ( and his demonic half ) wanted after-all… to ensure their dominance. no matter the price
