“so if your dad kills you, that means I’m free right?”

oh, did ky want to TEAR the other’s face off right then at the question. caleb would NEVER be free. his father may have been many things, but the WORST possible outcome was that ky spent a few hundred years in a CELL. nothing more than that. of course, there was the POSSIBILITY he would get close to death in this little plan of his, but he could DEAL with that. just like he did everything else.

BLACKHEART was not the problem. it was his GRANDFATHER that could potentially be one. still, that didn’t mean he’d change his plans – RIDDING the world of his father would be for the best, but even ky knew in doing so he would BECOME worse. much worse in all reality. he just couldn’t see it.

“if he kills me,” he said bluntly. “perhaps.” IT WASN’T A YES and for sure it WASN’T A NO. still, he knew that succeeding in his plans was the PRIMARY objective. anything else he had to SACRIFICE to obtain his goal was just background noise.

madtiitan:

“Then there is nothing more to lose.” WITH an affective ability of assuring the chances of fatality in COMING requirements. To in hopes, Thanos was UNSURE if able to be undertaken by the other, the chance was WIDE given to allow his request. “I wonder how much they meant to you. Or rather reasons to even do so.” The question LINGERED, favored to answer but not directly. “Would you do it AGAIN?”

“i’ve learned SACRIFICE is needed.” more importantly, there was no way to AVOID it when the time came. did that mean he would do it all again? possibly, but he wasn’t going to THINK about it. no, everything he had DONE was for a reason, and while he REGRETTED several things he’d done? there was NO going back. not now. “so, yes. EVERY single time.”

well if it was a trial run, you failed spectacularly. he smirks as he eyes the demon. He knew he was a thorn in the others side and it wouldn’t change. Not anytime soon at least. Oh i wouldn’t be so sure of that. I know a lot of tricks.

❝ you have your tricks and i have mine, ❞ he said bluntly. ❝ the trial run was nothing more than a test. i learned your kind is far more… resilient than i expected. ❞  that was one way of putting it, but if he couldn’t get the hellhounds on his side? well, it seems that he would have to end every single one of them… just to get his point across.

skymma:

“Is that a come-on?”

He asked it with a cheeky grin over his shoulder as he spotted a booth and went to claim it. The bird behind the bar was one he was friendly with, so he gestured to her, made eye contact, and called “oi, bottle of whiskey for me and my mate, yeah?” and she rolled her eyes but gestured her okay, and so John sat down, put his feet up on the opposite cushions, next to where Ky’lar would presumably join.

“You’d be surprised how much I dare”, he said, once situated, an arm sprawled along the back of the backrest. “In all manner of ways.”

there once was a time he wouldn’t play along with things; to where ky would be as blunt as possible. though, he was sure glad that he’d moved on from that. his own games were so… enjoyable – even more so these days.

a reason to why he sat down with a chuckle. he wasn’t going to reply if that was a come-on or not. in ky’s mind, he was just playing the role, and acting to the best of his ability. of course… in reality it was – in his own way of course.

“do you now?” he asked, grin pulling at his lips. “we’ll see just how far you dare.” if ky had anything to say about it that is. “won’t we?”

THERE WAS ONCE A TIME that ky had  ATTEMPTED to change for the better. to not FALL face first into the spiral he found himself in. it was a FOOLISH attempt to save himself – one that LASTED just around six months before he stopped. so easy it was to GIVE IN to his more darker urges; to SLAUGHTER rather than resist. to lose control rather than obtain it.

once, maybe he would have had a STATEMENT to say to that; to DENY that he was anything close to his family. to say he was DIFFERENT than the rest of them. oh, it was a FOOLS dream now, and even ky was starting to see the truth of the matter – he just WOULDN’T admit it.

“yeah, well,” he ran his hands through his hair. “i’m NOT like them.” at least in his mind. “nor will i ever be.” at least that was what he told himself, but the truth was PAINFULLY clear to anyone who actually knew him.
