“i doubt anyone would hear good things about me either.” then again, it all depended on his mood. if he wanted to, there was no doubt he could make a positive impact on things, but that meant restraint – the one thing he wasn’t entirely good at. a reason to why he chose to do what whatever pleased him. though, there were times like these he knew attempting to prove he was different ( even if the truth was the contrary ). “my family just isn’t the likable type.” or the most trustworthy if he was being completely honest.
“do you think you are the first one to attempt anything in this town, “ Oliver does not move a single inch from where he was standing as the man approached him, one hand was turning into a fist at his words and the other was holding into his bow, he is swallowing hard “ you talk a lot but I want to see you try it, then we will see whose end it will be”.
he knew he wasn’t the first. nor would he be the last to do something in this town, but there was one thing that was crystal clear in his mind; he would be the first to rule it. the first to establish a very well known position and the first to control it all. if the one before him got in his way? well, he would simply have to deal with them… one way or another. “i can assure you,” he said, smirk across his face, “it will be your own.”
i’m going to attempt drafts but like… i was just attacked and cut my finger open by a starbucks cup. so… that is a summary of andre atm.
Comfortable with the thought of successfully detaining someone who he had deemed to be a threat to mortals, it took some convincing, but eventually the pieces fell into place. Getting the avengers to coordinating their efforts like the well oiled unit that they were to galvanise Ky’s capture was but a happy coincidence; he’d have still captured the demon one way or another, though at the cost of significantly more property damage.
“You may call it such if you wish, but I still stand by my actions.” Almost able to perceive the extreme fury that radiated from Ky at present like heat, he was immune to its effects, as well as the baneful words that followed. Such mannerisms were comparable to a child denied its greatest wishes, and even though the tantrum that had taken place led to a grave loss of life, it did little to shake his perception of the demonspawn.
“True, but do not use that as an excuse to hinder its significance.” It did, after all, serve as an important reminder; that the Avengers would rise to greet Ky’lar and his schemes, with Thor himself leading the charge.
“You were bested by superior foes, your plans stopped before further destruction was caused. I urge that you dwell on that thought for a while.”
“ taken down by your sorry little group of… what was the name? ” the question was posed as his arms crossed firmly behind his back. “ avengers was it? ” a slight grin pulled at his lips for a few moments, “ see, if i was fighting you, and you alone… you’d be the one stuck inside this cell. “
it was a bluff, not even ky knew what would have happened between the both of them, but it had been close between himself, and the avengers. well, so he thought at least. if he had more time, things would have gone better – still, he was in here, and the prime target of his frustrations was right before him.
“so, if we were to fight right now, i would make sure you stayed inside this cell for the rest of your days… or worse.” he could get his grandfather involved. it would be a bold move – one that he doubted he could come back from, but it would be worth it. especially if it meant putting thor in his place.
“do make sure you’re making the right choice, son of odin.”
❝ if you’re looking for an apology, you won’t be getting one. ever. ❞ there’s something about him she doesn’t like —– though she can’t figure why that is, quite yet. regardless, she’s sticking to her words. ❝ it’s not my fault you were at the wrong place at the wrong time.❞
❝ nor is it my fault that we seem to always run into each other. ❞ a slight smirk spread across his lips. ❝ it might have been the wrong place at the wrong time, but there still is something that has to be said… even if you lack the ability to say it. ❞
“ buy me a drink and i MIGHT remember. ” it was a simple TEASE as he moved to pick up the bottle of whiskey he had and downed it as if it was water. “ or we could START with your name an’ go from there.”
