–––– Zeus didn’t like this, but what choice did he have? It was Sam’s life at risk, after all. And if he failed to save him… Zeus glanced at the demon. “Sam’s life is in danger. Someone’s taken his magic. We need it back.”

“And I fail to see how that is a problem.” Rather, Ky failed to see how he specifically needed to get involved. If Sam lost his magic ( take or otherwise ) there had to be a reason for it. “ The way I see it…  that’s more of a Sam problem. Not a me or you  problem, don’t you think?”

“Well, how about you do that on your own time, ‘kay? I’m not looking to be involved in some big shit-show like that when I’ve got a price hanging over my head.”

“We all have a price on our heads,” he said bluntly. “It’s not a show – more of an act.” Of sorts. “You’re already involved…. just by speaking with me.”

“Sure, want me to spice it up? Add a little holy to it?” Meg smirked to herself as she got out a bottle of whiskey and two glasses, sitting down next to him on the couch. “So what’s up?”

“I only do holy for business meetings,” he said, leaning back. “Unfortunately for you, i don’t feel the need to have it burning down my throat for a good few minutes.” Not that it actually would do anything major; some heart burn, but he was used to that by now.

“Then again…  it’s not like it would change anything.” least of all with the situation he was in at the moment. “So… consider me here for an hour-  just  long enough to get them off my trail.”

“Lucky you, I am in a good mood.  She’s currently flipping through a notepad filled with names and dates and other information for her reaps. Not the reason for her good mood, no that was because she actually got a full nights sleep. A rare occurrence.  There’s only so many reason someone would call a reaper for help. So, what do you need help with?

“I didn’t know you had good moods,” he said, biting his lower lip for a moment. “I need you to track someone down; a soul. I just need to see where they’re at.” After that, he could go from there, but there was doubt that he’d even get the answer’s he needed or… that he’d actually enjoy what they were in the first place. “Then I can go from there.”
