He never believed that Venom could truly be full. Maybe they would be satisfied for the moment, but full? Ky actually had to restrain himself from grinning at that prospect. If the Symbiote could achieve something a-kin to being full, that meant all Ky had to do was make sure it always had what it wanted. That way, maybe the both of them could come to an agreement… one way or another.
“You must have had a decent meal then.” Or maybe something was quite different this time around. In truth, he could have investigated into the why, or even what Venom ate, but he didn’t care that much about what they ate. Not really at least… just as long as it wasn’t him. “Any left overs?”
“i forgot how uneducated you are.” not that ky was much better in most cases, but he knew for a fact he was much better than a human. “i have a birthright – a calling as you will – in day’s past, a series of trials were put in place to see if the one was worthy of a throne.” or the only throne that mattered in his mind. “since most of the older demons are dead… the only way to complete it is with your help.“
“yes, well, i never really learned what ‘polite’ truly entails.”
Although they were not particularly fussed about what they would use for their next meal regardless of Eddie’s protests on this occasion the cunning klyntar had sought to deliberately drag things out. If to see how long the other’s patience would last before they snapped. “Saving lives? Why should we
C̕A̧͡R̵͝E̛ about doing that? Only Eddie concerns himself with things of THAT nature! And he…” That nebulous maw sees black lips recede, exposing fangs that dripped with saliva. Drooling at the mere promise of a meal to come. “…Is not
A͜V̕҉AĮ̶̷L̨̕A̴̸B̧͠LE̷ to comment!”
Ky thought the prospect of the meal would ultimately be enough. He added on the bit about saving lives as maybe (even if he had his doubts) it would grab their attention. So far, it just served to make things a bit more difficult. A reason to why the demon chose another – far more dangerous -route. One, that hopefully wouldn’t be filled with an instant amount of regret. “You need to eat, don’t you?” The question was asked as he took a step forward. “I can give you a meal that will keep you full for days.” His lips then pursed together for several moments. “Tell me, what do you know of Blackheart?”
he did in-fact know what he did. it was all too simple really. all ky did was put some plans in motion and trigger one version of the end of the world. someone could stop it- sure, he actually expected them to do so, but that didn’t mean it would be easy.
“do you realize,” he said, glancing at his gloved hand as if he was bored. “i know exactly what i’ve done. you just… didn’t care enough to stop me.”
He didn’t feel like repeating himself, but Ky’lar had to admit that it was a very sad state of affairs he was in. To agree with Strange was unthinkable, but here he was. Doing just that. “Against my better judgement, yes. I am.”
