Ky’lar’s tone took Norrin by surprise. Something must have really upset him. He wasn’t about to leave regardless of Ky’s current.”
“It’s never a good time and I’m not leaving.”
Ky honestly hoped Norrin would heave. That way, he could deal with this problem the way he always did; drinking. Still, since he wasn’t going anywhere… the best thing he could do at the current time was just slam his fist into one of the walls – if only to relieve some (if not all) of his anger.
“Suit yourself,” he said, as he ran his hands through his hair. “Not like it matters much anyways.” A pause. “Nothing does.”
“We still don’t know what you want. We’re getting impatient–give us answers or get out of our way.”
"Temper temper,” he mused, “I want your,” a pause, “ assistance… if I may be so bold as to request it.”
❛ don’t—— ❜ she began, stopping as he did. don’t bullshit me, were the words poised to jump from her tongue. nat had learned long ago what kind of destruction could come from someone worming their way under your skin and festering, pushing until you broke. she’d had more blood on her hands than most ( more than him?she doesn’t know ), and she certainly knew what it looked like. he changed his approach, and so did she, brow rising higher on her forehead as she awaited whatever story he was ready to spin. no gun was in her grasp, but that didn’t mean that the former spy didn’t have a few tricks up her sleeves, or that she wasn’t a weapon in her own right. despite the way her stance may have appeared casual to an onlooker, the black widow was prepared for a fight if it came down to it.
without relaxing, she let out a slow breath when he seemingly thought better of telling tall tales, and her arms came out in front of her, as if open to whatever he had to say ——as if she was ready to listen. ❛ okay. how ‘bout you tell me exactly what happened here—— ❜ a wry smile found its way to her lips, though there was no amusement in her eyes as she watched him, warily, never letting her guard down. ❛ ——and i’ll decide what we’re going to do with you. ❜
as much as he would have loved to explain what exactly happened, a part of him knew it would only lead him into worse trouble. not that he could get into more trouble than he already was, but there was always a possibility that he’d spend the rest of his life in a small cell. a cell, that would have been a walk in the park compared to what would happen if he was ever forcefully sent back home. at least then, he’d be safe – for a time -, but everyone got what they deserved… even if it wasn’t anything close to what they necessarily wanted.
❛ we had a disagreement. ❜ wrong, it was far more than that; ky started a fight, he got angry, and he didn’t hold back. for an instant, he actually thought that he didn’t need to hold back. one dead body wasn’t anything to lift an eyebrow at. he’d been under control for weeks – longer than he had anytime before. he was actually avoiding anything that could get him ‘noticed’ and then this. ❛ it’s not the first time it’s happened either – i just… ❜ and then he trailed off as he leaned his back against a wall. ❛ i don’t know. ❜
Fingers coyly toyed with the obvious erection still trapped beneath the jeans. Temporarily taking his hand away, Norrin yanked Ky’lar’s pants down. To do so he also broke their kiss. He was a bit surprised by Ky’s restraint. Was he still weighing the costs of this little hook up?
“You know you can touch me right?”
The restraint was out of necessity rather than an actual want. If he let himself get too far gone, he’d no doubt hate himself after the fact, but admitting that was impossible. Instead, Ky shot a sharp glare at Norrin shortly after the kiss was stopped.
“Stop talking,” he snapped out. In truth, he intended it to be soft as he moved a hand under Norrin’s chin, but it didn’t come out that way. “Just focus on me.” Even if Ky’s mind was already drifting into what would happen if anyone found out about this.
“Then I’d still think you were insane.” This coming from someone who experienced a very real demon gain an attachment to him. His hesitance to comply could be blamed on this very fact. “What’s in it for me? And don’t say exposure, ‘cuz I got that in spades already.”
“Sanity is subjective,” he said bluntly. “However, I believe we can come to some sort of agreement.” If not, Ky would have to change tactics, but if he was being honest? He didn’t like having to negotiate anything. Action was what he was good at… most of the time. “I’m talking about more than simple exposure – name it and you’ll have it.”
❝ i was once told the reason i was born was to bring about the END of days. maybe they are right about that.maybe i will bring about the END of the world, but not now. NOT today. ❞
“I feel stupid as hell but saying this, but…” Unsure how of to put thoughts into words, Eddie falls silent to avoid embarrassing himself. His world was one defined by a number of crazy developments on all given day, but what he was about to share may just top everything else. “I think god is coming, okay? The one in the abyss who looks back.”
Ky’s tail poked Eddie right in the chest as he listened. A scowl forming across his features as time passed. “What god?” Ky wasn’t foolish enough to admit there wasn’t gods – Thor was a God -, but then again, there were many beings that were ‘considered’ gods. Ky bet even Mephisto was a god to someone, but that wasn’t the point. “And not stupid just… i fail to really care.” Rather, Ky failed to care unless it specifically related to him or his family.
This one sure knows how to annoy! But Venom is a patient sort. He knows not to give into anger so quickly. Unless Eddie calls him a parasite again.
“Bored? Then you should do something
F҉̸͞U̡Ń͘. Like try out a hobby, perhaps?”
This time Ky folded his arms across his chest. His tail moving back to it’s usual spot behind his back. Fun was subjective; he could only do the same thing so many times before it got repetitive. “Like killing you?” He didn’t exactly mean it like that, but Ky rarely had time for a normal version of fun. “Or,” he said, glaring in Venom’s direction, “We can have some REAL fun.”
