“then we can be each other’s backup, and see where things go from here. i don’t think we need to worry too much, but – the least amount of damage we leave behind, the better.” he’s learned, along with the other avengers, that people don’t tend to like their homes being destroyed even if the people destroying it were trying to save the planet.
he was about to comment that all damage was collateral, but instead, he gave a nod. there was no use trying to go into that little debate nor attempt to explain himself. “well, things happen,” he said with a shrug. “i’ll try to keep away from doing anything too unnecessary.”
he’s eying him up, head to toe, deep in thought for a moment before allowing himself to speak. thor tilts his head, then gives a small nod. “alright, you look built for it – but how well can you fight? if you’re not actually able to do it, i can take over from here.”
“decent enough.” though, it honestly depended not on who, but rather, what he was actually fighting. most of the time he had the upper-hand due to his strength, but even so, there were times where it was useless in some situations. “if it’s needed.”
