In truth, he wished that things could have gone differently, but the problem was that nothing could be changed once it was done. Not that he could really voice his complaints, “— You’re not the only one.” Of course, that was putting it lightly, “ You just have to deal with what’s there and move on.” Easier said than done.
he should have known that staring wouldn’t have got him anywhere, but what could he say? the demon was amused at the moment and that – almost always – meant that was in a good mood ( for once ), “don’t tell me I came in at a bad time or is this how you usually greet everyone?”
He knew it was IDIOTIC to attempt fighting his father, but he had DONE so with out any WARNING. To that regard, he was BEATEN back to the EDGE of death. Something…. that Ky’lar didn’t even think was possible, but it happened all the same.
Yet, he didn’t NEED help. Nor did he need her INVOLVEMENT into saving his life. He could have handled this himself, “No,” his words came out harsher than he thought they would have, “I could have handled this.”
It was a question that he knew would have to be answered eventually. One, that no matter how hard he attempted to avoid the subject, it would always come up. Most days, he couldn’t even admit that he could love, and while he cared for her… really did care, he didn’t know if he could put that sort of label on what they had.
Even if he could, it would have complicated matters, and it was why he didn’t want to deal with that sort of question. Not now, not anytime soon, and not ever. It was to that reasoning he let moved his right hand under her chin for a few moments, “As much as I can a person.” It wasn’t a yes or a no. Rather, it was simply his way of saying…. in simple terms… that he was saying yes.
Of course the Lich King wasn’t going to be easy on him. For one, he was the son of a high ranking Scourge commander, and for two, it appeared he was the King’s newest ‘play thing’.
Of course, all Ky could do was spit the blood out of his mouth a few moments after he hit the stone wall with enough force to make slight indentation behind him. “Is… that all you got?”
If this had been any other time, he would have possibly made some complaint about how he wasn’t little. Yes, by most standards he was still a child, but he didn’t see it that way.
A reason to why he could only roll his eyes at the comment. He wasn’t little. He wasn’t a child. He was going to prove himself. He just didn’t know how, “— And how would you feel about this… little demon slamming you against a wall?”
“Then you know that it’s impossible to keep me chained to one place.” He wanted to say that it was dangerous. For her to know when he was lying, but for now, that wasn’t important, “However, I have to ask,….. how long have you known?”
