“ a long list of your activities – ” she would rather not begin to list them all or think of them to encourage her and distract from the task at hand. a step taken forward and a hand tight on her hilt, she wants to strike because she knows he’s playing a game with her – a game he’ll surely seek defeat by the hand of sif.
“ i won’t ask twice, ” sif eyes him; limbs to expression, by the smirk on his lips as she finds disgust within her soul.
“ can’t or simply just wont? “ he asked, grin slowly spreading across his lips. “ the way I see it’s quite simple – in my mind, i could on on about what i’ve done and at the same time? i don’t see the point.” not to mention that it would be a waste of breath ( not to mention taxing ). still, distractions were needed, but not when it became more bothersome than the cold hard truth.
“ either way? “ a slight grin spread across his lips. “ i’ll give you this one opportunity to turn back and forget about this. ” he could have said more, but truth be told? he didn’t quite see the point. “ so, how about you run along. ”
“ i can surpass the son of a demon, ” she was practically jogging next to him in comparison. however, she does not feel as if this was a victory – there was more to be taken into consideration. especially in her surroundings and his identity. if he truly was blackheart’s spawn, he’s not going to come willingly to be locked in hel.
“ confess your crimes and come willingly – don’t make this harder than what it needs to be, ” she bites her tongue and cheek as she preps for the unexpected. a warrior must assume the worst and never falter – not until the last second.
the thought of any crimes was laughable at best, but he’d keep his lips sealed on that specific matter. no, he wasn’t going to admit to anything – sure he’d done enough to warrant him a death sentence in a few realms, but it all could be attributed back to his nature.
“ you sure ‘bout that? ” he asked, grin still plastered across his face, and for the most part ky believed he was in control of the situation. he might not have known much about her, but he knew she was a warrior of sorts – not of earth. that much was clear, but he’d been wrong before. “ the way I see it, ” at least for the moment. “ i’ve done nothing wrong. ” at least for the last few days. “ so, what is there to confess? ”
“ the mere idea of you believing you’re clever enough to outwit me is amusing, don’t you agree? ” blade quickly meets the throat of her enemy without slicing through just yet. the lady loves a good hunt and tailing down this demon was surely one of the many adventures she strode on without faltering far behind. thousands of years in experience blessed her well, mind and spirit, “ a name would be nice. ”
oh, he was smart, but all the same, mistakes were made, and while he thought he was ahead? the reality was he was already a step behind. typical in all reality – ky always knew his ego would get him in trouble and this was just one of those times. “what is more amusing is you being able to keep up with me,” he said, as he lifted his neck slightly – a grin following suit. this would be fun, but only if he played his cards right. if he didn’t? well, things wouldn’t go over well… least of all for him. “an’ it’s ky’lar.” a pause, “the son of blackheart.”
