“I guess you’re right. I wasn’t thinking of the … ‘less innocent’ ways to shut someone up. INTERESTING to see where your mind is at, Kylar.” wink.

“I’d say on your KNEES, but I don’t think that’s necessary.” Was his mind in the gutter? Yes, yes it was. “However, i’m sure you could… change my mind.”

“i can see you for who you are.” he shrugged. marcus might not ENJOY fighting, but he was always ready for it if he needed to be. “right now you and i have no need to fight, ‘sides, i’d like to see you TRY.”

“good for you!” a slight grin spread across his features, but then vanished just as quickly as it had formed. “you can see me for what I AM, but that DOESN’T change the bloody fact i COULD take you down.” a pause. “if i wished.”

Nathan resisted the urge to hit his head against the bars. “Knew you should have listened to Sully, Nate. You should always listen to Sully.” He said to himself.

I am doing my goddamn job.” He finally spoke to Ky’lar. “I’ve been quite excellent at my goddamn job if I do say so myself. Considering I’ve been doing this whole damn thing with an arm tied behind my back.” He turned jabbing a finger at the other man. “No, that sure as hell doesn’t help. Which, is pretty much the help you’ve been this whole damn time. None.”

his eyes narrowed at the other as the finger was jabbed in his direction. it was true, he hadn’t done anything to help, but he wasn’t paying nate to only do a half-assed job. what he was doing was making sure that what he wanted was obtained with minimal effort on his top.

“i gave you all the information you needed,” he said. “if you want me to help, you need to ask the right questions, and not pointing at me like i can do something inside this bloody cell!”
