TRUTH BE TOLD, she couldn’t blame skye completely. the idea of a girls night out was brilliant ! jemma was more than happy to agree with whatever was in store. that was mistake number one. had she known that bygirls night out, skye meant just the two of then and that the event was taking place at NIGHT CLUB with the two under cover – she wouldn’t have been so quick to agree.

she was unaware of what the true goal was. at first it was to loosen up then it was i have intell that some dangerous inhumans might be the owners . at this point, she was just thankful she’d worn sensible shoes.

that was part of the problem. her friend must’ve chosen THEE most crowded club; they’d gone straight from work and jemma was now aware that she was severely over dressed. not that she would’ve changed from her usual work outfit had she known, but she would’ve at least changed her shirt. crowded, sweaty people with no sense of personal space and SWEATERS did not go together.    (    despite popular belief !    )

skye is lost among the crowd. if she hadn’t known how good she was in combat, jemma might’ve been worried for her safety. no, she’s MUCH more worried for whomever tries anything. she, herself, had been dancing earlier in the night. JELLO SHOTS loosening up her usually STIFF posture. she was enjoying herself, sure, but it was still FAR too hot – and the people were starting to get louder and the club even more busy.

HI – i’m jemma. ”

she introduces herself upon him being NEAR the bar. she’s missing company, the booze making her CHATTY. her hair is sticking to her, a pony tail doing nothing to relieve the heat. “ … simmons. jemma simmons. you are   ?oh. so much for a cover, hopefully this was in fact – not a mission.

night clubs were places he only frequented due to business reasons; sometimes he hated them, but others they could be ultimately amusing. at any-rate, this had been a slow night, and he had found himself on his eighth drink.

to some, they would have been shit-faced drunk, but to ky, he was still sober. possibly one of the side effects for what he was, and all the same, he wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.

though, he was caught a little off guard by her words; most would have avoided him all together and left him to his drinks. of course, that was the usual, and as it was turning out to be, this was a very unusual night.

❝ ky’lar. ❞

the man barely looked up from his drink as he took the fresh one and started to down it with out another word. to some, this would have been considered rude, but if he was going to have to be social, he might as well get as drunk as be possibly could.

❝ ky’lar richardson. ❞

granted, he could have said more; much more if he was being quite honest with himself, but ky’lar was far more focused on what he was drinking than the world around him.
