camille ran a hand through her already tousled locks as she tried to find solace in his words.        he would be gone      she wouldn’t have to watch her words.        tiptoe around him.        and yet,     she was already mourning his absence.        she couldn’t return his gaze,     too afraid that her body would betray her and act on it’s own accord.

her pearly rows of teeth kneaded her blush colored lips together,     tears swelling on her lower lash line.      dammit.                    don’t go.                  the words spilled from her lips in a soft shudder,      and immediately her mouth clamped shut by her fingertips as if she stepped out of line.       @hellfirebound  /  c.

he was a demon;            she had known that for quite a while and yet she still wanted him around.            it wouldn’t last,       the moment anyone else could have found out,              he would be sent away one way or another,           and ky’lar  had  been around for far too long.

an attachment had formed;          one that he thought was lost during the first days of the virus,          but all the same,              it was there,               and it wasn’t going away anytime soon,

❛    give me a reason to stay.    ❜     his words came out far quickly than intended and yet he meant it.     he needed a reason to not leave.

just so we’re clear:      i don’t like you hangin’ around this place.                  liam’s brows scrunched together in distaste,     a shift from his usual stoic expressions.        he wasn’t trying to pick a fight,     nor trying to rile the other up,    but instead voice his mindset whenever he saw the other walking around eden.         @hellfirebound  /  sc

ky’lar doubted anyone knew about his true species or the reasons he was here;    if they did,        there was no doubt that he would be thrown out,        but all the same,      he was at least attempting to be half-way decent.                 ❛    good to know.    i don’t like you either.    ❜

she felt smaller than she did before,    having to wrap her plaid shirt around her even tighter as her limbs hugged her lithe frame.        her blush colored lip was captured between the walls of her teeth as she didn’t dare to falter her gaze from his own.        there was a fire in the bed of her eyes as she glared at him ,   but it soon was extinguished at his words.

wait,     you’re leaving?       why did you come here to tell me that?                  and why am i going to be haunted with your absence?          perhaps a part of her knew that she would forgive him,     or at least tolerate his presence again,     but it all seemed so out of reach suddenly.         a hint of desperation for answers ridden her soft features,     the very same that was harshly scrunched in anger not days before.                     why not leave a note or somethin’?

leaving a note wasn’t his style : he would either leave with no word or attempt to find a reason to stay.                  for now, he was aiming towards the latter, as a deep breath escaped the demons lips.                      he didn’t want to leave, but knew he couldn’t stay either.          over-all, it was a lose-lose situation, and one that neither of them would like.

choices were complicated, nothing was ever clear cut, and rarely was it in anyone else’s favor.          though, his mind was made up, he was going to leave, and go back to the rest.           maybe then he could let himself forget about everything — it would be easier that way,           ❛    i thought you would have liked to know.      ❜         a full out lie, ky wanted her to to stop him, but for now, that didn’t matter.         just saying he was leaving was enough.
