“Oh, come now. There’s almost always a REASON to care.” For him, the keyword was ‘almost’. He knew from firsthand experience that there were many times in which one simply becomes purely numb to a situation.
“I’ve yet to find a REAL reason to to do so.” It was simple logic in his mind; why should he put out some form of interest when it wasn’t in his best interests to commit to the act. “These days…. everything is so bland.”
