“my family is complicated. good and bad are easy terms to understand – at least to your kind,” he said bluntly. “think of it as… those definition are for mortals.” he could have elaborated a bit more, but instead, he gave a nod. “yes, yes – no one will know about this.” he rolled his eyes. “eventually, someone may find it out, but it won’t be my fault.” or at least that’s what he believed. “ a few hours – maybe three at max.” he sighed. “it’s going to be a long night.”
“ Not on best terms with yours then I will assume and when are we going to do this?”a pause follows as he was sucking in a deep breath it was not like his family never had issues there had been several arguments between him and his father but he always had Dean there to have his back.
“I’d rather rip them apart, but we can’t have that… can we?” he could, but that wasn’t the plan. not to mention ky would get torn apart and put back together for a stunt like that. so, no, he’d have to play his own part while other’s did their’s. a simple truth that couldn’t be denied and yet there was always exceptions to those so called rules. “As for when? Give me… a few hours. I still have to find his soul.”

“We’ll see about that.” Or more specifically, Ky would test Oliver’s word to see how far it could quite possibly go. Just to find out the other’s… limitations. “Fair is fair, isn’t it?” Ky would only speak of the deal if needed, but he knew what was at stake here; he knew what would happen if things didn’t go in his favor. This city would be his soon enough and nothing would stop him on that matter. No, not even this little deal; he protected the city and in return he would be their savior… better than anyone else. “When i’m done with this… game of mine? You might even get to keep your little soul, but until then? You work for me.”

of course he did; just like he knew that the deal he was making wasn’t going to turn out well for him, but only if he broke it. still, what was the old saying? no reward with out any risk? well, this was one he was taking – a reason to why he was trying to be so careful with his words. that way, maybe he could come out of this with-out losing his head ( so to speak ). “I do,” he said bluntly. “this city is under my protection now. that means… anyone who decides to fuck up that peace i’m going to establish? will die… painfully.”

it was a very tempting offer. so tempting, he almost accepted with-out thinking of the consequences, but instead, he bit his lower lip as he considered his options. for one, he could use oliver to his advantage, but at the same time… that was many souls to trade for his – maybe it would be worth it. one soul didn’t have the same value as others, but was oliver’s really worth that many? possibly. he just didn’t completely see it. “i’d say you’re a brave man.” a pause. “brave, but very foolish as well – are you sure about this?”
