“You are a very lousy salesman. Your pitch needs a lot of work. But since you have disrupted my evening thus far, I will allow you a second opportunity to get your point across. Concisely, please.” For an immortal with the luxury and abundance of time, Cain did not like it being wasted.
“well, i’ve honestly been called worse.” though, there was a reason he was trying to get out of sells. he either managed to do really well or… horribly lousy. still, he was at least trying. “still, i need a little… privacy for something. by privacy i mean… where a family member can’t find me.”
With obvious and apparent irritation, he placed the glass on the nearest table. Before he even entertained the notion of continuing the conversation, he slowly and methodically replaced the cap on the bottle of scotch. Finally, he leaned back in his seat and stared at the man, “The next words out of your mouth better convince me that your appearance here is worth my time.”
obviously the last thing ky needed to get into was more trouble. well, more trouble than he found himself in daily, but all the same, he was attempting ( for the most part ) to be decent. “you’re right, it may not be fully worth your time, but i’ve been wrong before.” well, more times than he could personally count, but that was ultimately besides the point.
“This is a very expensive well-aged single malt scotch. If you are interrupting me while I am trying to enjoy it, it better be for a good reason.”
“You do know that the drink will still be there if you take your concentration off it, right?” Honestly, he had a decent reason for why he was here, but he wouldn’t exactly call it good. Well, not really at least, “So, you can finish it if you like or… I can just pop out of here. Your call.”
