“You are well aware of what I meant.” Grant kept the gun steadily aimed at him, watching carefully. “I’m listening.” A chat? He raised his chin higher, staring him down as thoughts raced through his head. What could be possibly want to chat for?
“Am I now? See, you have to be a bit more specific,” he was about to say ‘next time’, but there was doubt that they’d be in this situation again. A reason to why he took a step forward, and then flashed a slight grin. “You can listen all you want, but the real question is if you’re even going to hear anything i say.” A pause. “More importantly, I have an offer for you, but it’s hard to say anything when you have a gun aimed at me.”
Grant stood still, feet firmly planted into the ground as he kept his gun pointed at the man in front of him, ready to shoot at the slightest altercation. “What do you want?”
“Should I start off by my absolute need or maybe alphabetically.” There was a shrug. “I want many things, but for the time being? I think a chat is in order, don’t you?”
